Spalį – supratimo apie krūties vėžį mėnesį – Santaros klinikų gydytojai radiologai ragina moteris ir jų artimuosius nelikti abejingus, skiri laiko savo sveikatai ir pasirūpinti ankstyva diagnostika. Spalio 11 dieną Vilniaus prekybos centro „Panorama“ erdvėse organizuotos krūtų patikros akcijos metu buvo patikrintos 102 moterys, joms buvo atliktas ultragarsinis krūtų ištyrimas. Iš visų apžiūrėtų 24 moterims buvo rekomenduota kreiptis į sveikatos priežiūros specialistus atlikti papildomus tyrimus. Po tyrimo ultragarsu buvo suteikta profesionali gydytojo-radiologo konsultacija, akcijos dalyviams buvo atsakyta į juos dominančius klausimus dėl šio tyrimo.
